In Loving Memory of Charles (Kiki) Kyriacou

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed community member, Trustee and Honorary Consul for Cyprus, Charles (Kiki) Kyriacou. 


Charles passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on 24 July 2026, at the age of 68, following a short illness. 


A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Charles leaves behind his devoted wife, Xanthippi, his sons, Christopher and Nicholas, and his cherished granddaughter, Sabrina Bobbie. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.


Funeral details will be announced in due course.


We thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

We are the Greek Orthodox Community of Leeds, one of the 100+ parish communities of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.

We are a registered charity in England and Wales and our mission is to preserve and continue Greek and Christian Orthodox faith, culture and heritage. Our community was founded in 1962 and has since grown to include our Church, Community Hall and  Greek School.

If you are new to our community, we would love to meet you in person and have a friendly conversation over coffee or tea; so why not visit our Church on a Sunday and then join us for refreshments afterwards in our adjoining Community Hall.
