Greek Orthodox Community of Leeds
The Greek Orthodox Community of Leeds is being honoured by Leeds City Council
🇬🇷🇨🇾 At 6.28pm, today, 25th March, the Leeds Town Hall will be illuminated in blue and white, to mark Greek Independence Day and to celebrate 60 years of the Greek Orthodox Church in Leeds. This beautiful gesture has been made possible thanks to the initiative of the Consulate General of Greece in Manchester and our Honourary Consul, Mrs. Eleftheria Gortzi-Yiannoudi , with the kind support of the Leeds City Council and Lord Mayor Councillor Dan Cohen. We warmly thank the City of Leeds for honouring our national day and recognising the long-standing presence and contribution of the Greek Orthodox Community in the city. Join us as we celebrate this special day together — a day of faith, freedom, and community! 🇬🇷🇨🇾

A Warm Welcome To All
